Thank you so much for your interest in K. D. Schmidt Photography!

Since I can remember, I have always had a passion and love of photography! I used to love taking pictures with my little Mickey Mouse camera as a child and went through countless rolls of film in my 35mm as a teenager ….. and now take endless images on my DSLR!

I was inspired to take this hobby a bit more seriously a couple years ago and then was majorly inspired when I had my beautiful daughter, Ava in 2011. It was then that I realized each moment is a snapshot in time …. and I wanted to capture every single one of her!  Only then I began to understand how precious each moment is, how fast time goes by, and how I will cherish photographs of her for the rest of my life.

I am always humbled and honored when a get a request to book a photo session and that person has chose ME to capture their memories! I feel it is always a privilege to freeze these moments in time for people and their families! It warms my heart and continues to inspire me to be a better photographer everyday!
